Prepping for Your Window or Door Installation

We are very excited to get started on your window / door project! Below are a few quick tips to help prepare for the day of install...
  • If the weather is not conclusive for our installer to do the work he will call you directly on the morning of the install. (Since the weather can change on a dime, we hate to call it off until we know for sure we can't work.)
  • You can prepare your home by pulling back furniture at least 2 ft from the window or door areas. No need to move your furniture in another room, but feel free to drape it if you are concerned.
  • Our work can cause slight vibrations on your home's walls so, we suggest that you remove any artwork or valuables you have hanging on the walls that are not securely fastened.
  • Please have all pets in a secure area where they can not get loose. We love pets and we don't want them to get hurt or run off when we are going in and out of your home.
  • Blinds and curtains that are hooked directly to the window or door area will need to be removed in most cases before we can do the work. If you need a hand, our installers are very friendly about helping out with this.
  • Since every job is different, we don't know in what order the work will be done; however, when your installer arrives they can look over the project and let you know. Also, if you need them to start in a certain area first, just ask them.
  • Upon completion of the project, our installer will give you warranty papers for your windows / doors and also a final invoice. Please give your payment to the installer when he leaves.
We appreciate you taking time to read through these preparation steps. We look forward to seeing you soon!
